10 years ago, we visited Siargao Island on our first international holiday together. It was Lisa’s first time in the Philippines, and for Ian it was a chance to show Lisa his culture, his favourite island and introduce her to old friends while catching some waves (of course!). 

It became one of those trips we’ll never forget. We quickly slipped into island life: boat cruises on turquoise waters, jungle parties, endless karaoke, and chasing sunsets from one side of the island to the other. It was a great adventure, and it didn’t take long for Siargao to steal our hearts and each other’s.

When we returned in 2024 to look at wedding venues, it just felt right for us. We wanted a celebration that reflected what we love most about the island, its natural beauty, relaxed vibe and warm Filipino hospitality.
