A decade ago, we visited Siargao Island on our first international holiday together. It was my first time in the Philippines, and Ian was excited to show me his favourite island, Filipino culture, and introduce me to some old friends while catching a few waves (of course!)

It became one of those trips we’ll never forget. We quickly slipped into island life: boat cruises on turquoise waters, jungle parties, endless karaoke, and chasing sunsets from one side of the island to the other.. Every day was an adventure, and it didn’t take long for Siargao to steal our hearts and each other’s.

When we returned in 2024 to look at wedding venues, it just felt right for us. We wanted a celebration that reflected what we love most about the island, its natural beauty, relaxed vibes and warm Filipino hospitality.
